Allied Senior Planning Departments

Admin Team:

Creating an excellent infrastructure for your efficient and thorough Medicaid application is at the core of Allied Senior Planning’s Administrative Team. From first contact and extending beyond your nursing facility stay, we connect at every step. Your case begins with us scheduling an intake interview. The Admin Team enters your case into our system. Once entered you are given access to our portal which provides real-time updates and 24-hour access. If portal access is a new skill, you are guided and supported as needed. Documents and communication from HHSC, and other parties, regarding your case are organized and uploaded to the portal. Our automation processes notify attending Medicaid Analysts of any action needed, ensuring time-sensitive issues are addressed. At the end of nursing home stays we offer assistance in any Medicaid Estate Recovery Claims. Routine audits of policies, procedures, and the portal make sure data is current and communication is effective and efficient.

Client Services Team

Adding value to your experience is one the core values of the Client Services Team. Whether you are individually seeking assistance, or you are a part of a corporate contract, you are a priority to us. The Medicaid application process can be daunting and confusing. When you trust someone to serve for you in that capacity you are treated with respect and understanding. Cultivating relationships, maintaining partnerships, and growing in expertise of varied situations drive us to continued improvement. Your expectations and concerns are represented by us to the other Allied departments. Providing solutions to your unique situation keeps us open and adaptable. Onboarding corporate clients with training facilitates a smooth transition to utilizing our services. Communication, clarity, and compassion are all at the core of our department’s service.

Renewal Team:

Maintaining active benefits for the entirety of your nursing home stay is the assignment of the Renewal Department. In close communication with Allied’s Processing Team, we monitor your case for updates impacting eligibility and any applied income due to the facility. We work with Client Services to ensure timely and accurate recertification. Renewal dates are tracked and anticipated so clients receive three months notification prior to their renewal date. This allows time to address concerns and maintain eligibility. Serving as your Authorized Representative we will be notified of any action needed for your sustained benefits. On the occasional HHSC error we work closely with you and the facility to accurately represent the resident’s best interest according to HHSC policy. Keeping you aware of your case, we will also seek to keep you at ease.

Processing Team:

Representing families and durable Powers of Attorney, the Processing Team will determine nursing home eligibility or future eligibility. During an initial interview we will gather demographic data, resources, and income. Our team assists in obtaining resource and income verification needed for the Medicaid application. During the application process all involved, from applicants to nursing home staff, receive consistent and clear communication. The user-friendly online portal contains documentation of all application activity and is accessible at your convenience. Additionally, you can expect phone, email, and text communication as needed.

Upon verification of resources, income, and demographic information, Allied will apply to Health and Human Services. Once the application is submitted, Allied pivots from applicant to advocate to ensure the case is completed and approved. We secure accurate determination of nursing home eligibility and monthly applied income. When inaccuracy is determined Allied connects with HHSC to establish the correction.

Upon Medicaid approval the Renewal Department is activated to actively monitor your case, ensuring accurate and sustained coverage. To provide you with the best possible service, all Processing Team staff are seasoned experts in MEPD policy and procedure.
